Ji-Hyun Yoo, PLA

Principal

“Landscape architecture is about connecting people and nature through distinct cultural lenses.”

Growing up as a sculptor and having evolved into a landscape architect, Ji-Hyun Yoo, PLA, views landscape design not merely as problem-solving, but as environmental art that reveals a site’s unique qualities and tells its own stories. She has practiced for more than 20 years on a variety of projects, including mixed-use development, urban design, and residential and hospitality projects. Ji-Hyun is a registered landscape architect in California who holds a BFA from Seoul National University and an MLA from Harvard Graduate School of Design.
