Shaun Loomis
Since joining SWA in 2013, Shaun has become Sausalito’s QAQC leader, helping teams realize design ideas through extensive detailing and material understanding. Working on projects from concept to completion, Shaun plays an important role supervising careful drawing review and rigorous on-site coordination with clients, architects, and contractors. While at SWA, Shaun has worked on many notable domestic and international projects, including Google’s Mass Timber Campus, Dubai EXPO 2020, Stanford’s Hoover Institution, San Bruno Recreation Center & Creek Restoration, and Burlingame Town Square. Shaun has been active in SWA’s pro bono work, fostering relationships with the community through projects at local schools and the “Land Together” program, which partnered with the California Medical Facility Prison to design and install an in-prison garden.
