Sarah Fitzgerald, PLA

Climate & Sustainability Co-Lead

As SWA’s firmwide Climate & Sustainability Co-Lead, Sarah is spearheading the development and implementation of the firm’s Climate Action Plan, aimed at evolving practice to better address the challenges of the climate crisis. Her research and project work foreground carbon sequestration, low-impact development (LID), and sustainable design solutions that are sensitive to their ecological and social contexts. She is an active volunteer with ASLA’s Biodiversity and Climate Action Committee and was a co-author of the recent ASLA Climate Action Plan.
