Matt joined SWA/Balsley in the New York office in June of 2023 as a licensed Landscape Architect. He is from a small town in the Piedmont of North Carolina but has lived in New York, Washington DC, Boston, Durham, and Birmingham. He has worked for several notable design firms and has a portfolio that spans the globe. Most of his completed work is on the Eastern Seaboard of the United States. He contributes to all stages of design and excels at detailed, material levels of design. His current work is focused on residential, commercial, and hospitality projects in the Middle East. Matt has a Master of Landscape Architecture and a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Auburn University.
