Jackson is the firmwide Director of Communications at SWA. Based in New York, Jackson joined the firm in 2023. Previously, he led communications and marketing efforts at SCAPE and a range of other design firms, nonprofits, and publications in New York and Louisiana, focused primarily on large-scale climate adaptation and resilience planning.

At SWA, he works across all eight offices to oversee brand strategy, digital media, public relations, and other ways to express the work and thought leadership of SWA to the outside world. He brings a laser focus to multimedia and climate storytelling and a research background in environmental science and policy.

Jackson holds a Bachelor’s with Honors in Environmental and Urban History from Bard College, where he received two Alice Doyle Awards and the Lytle Family Grant for his research on coastal restoration, and two Mellon Foundation Grants for environmental education. He is originally from Savannah, Georgia.
