FEATURED PROJECTS
Andrew Gressett
Andrew Gressett is an Associate Principal in SWA’s Houston studio. He joined the firm in 2017 after earning a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Houston and was promoted to Associate Principal in July 2026. As a designer, Andrew works across public, civic, and institutional landscapes — from parks and trails to sports stadiums and museums, and down to all of the site objects and furnishings within a project. This range has given him a versatile design sensibility, one that moves easily from conceptual work to highly technical drawings.
Andrew has completed two Patrick T. Curran Fellowships, first exploring how landscape architects can design with sound in public spaces, and later focusing on advancing computational design methods within a landscape architecture practice. Both fellowships reflect his ongoing interest in expanding how designers can use technology to shape the way we experience the public realm.
