Here Are the 10 Potential Redesigns For Pershing Square

Since the September launch of a competition to choose a team to overhaul Downtown's most picked-on park, Pershing Square, we've been waiting to see what the future might hold for the space. Now, we're seeing what the ten design teams in the semifinal round are imagining for Pershing, via the website for Pershing Square Renew (PSR), the nonprofit helming the makeover. PSR is actively soliciting input on the ten potential designs on their site, where there are comments open for each team's proposal. Those comments will be taken into consideration by the jury that decides which teams advance to the next round.

It's worth nothing that these designs are not the final designs, but are overall ideas of what a team's final design would look like. The four top-scoring teams of semi-finalists will advance to the final stage; at that stage, each team will show their fully developed concepts.
