Born in 1987, I grew up in Xi’an, China. The elegant forms of ancient architecture and the tranquility of solitary gardens fascinated me and led me to the field of landscape architecture. My BLA education at the University of Washington provides me exciting possibilities to stretch my learning in landscape design within an interdisciplinary atmosphere. Currently, I am participating in a cross-disciplinary design lab helping a Chinese ethnic village with re-planning after the catastrophic earthquake. I was also briefly educated in Seoul, South Korea and Tokyo, Japan. s, urban parks and residential areas etc.
