Ultimate development of this medical education and research center will include more than 20 buildings of various instructional, patients’ care and research facilities. The Medical Education Building and the exterior open space is the first phase with a parking structure on the north side for Phase II. A lawn terraced amphitheater with a tree bosque is proposed for informal and programmed use on the north side. The south side has a series of gardens with the main pedestrian entry plaza on the west side.
